Multipower Health-Baking Ambassador, Healthy Jon shares his 4 Ingredient Chocolate Protein Pancakes
1 scoop of Multipower 100% Whey Isolate Rich Chocolate
1/4 tsp. of baking powder
1 tsp. of cacao powder (optional)
1/2 tsp. of cinnamon (optional)
Garnished with; flaked almonds, almond butter & cacao nibs.
Other garnishes; yoghurt, berries, desiiccated coconut, maple syrup or honey.
Put all ingredients into a food processor or blender and blitz until smooth
Heat a pan (medium to high) and coat with a thin layer of grease. 1kcal sprays work brilliantly but if you don't have one, spread some butter or coconut oil over the pan with some folded up kitchen roll. The thinner the layer of fat the better, we don't want to fry the pancake - just prevent it from sticking (trade secret right there!)
Step 3 - Pour in the batter and flip when you start to see bubbles. Leave for approximately the same duration on the other side
Remove pancake from pan and place on a baking rack to cool. Placing your pancake on a plate will form condensation making your pancake soggy. By allowing them to breathe by using a cooling rack, this will circulate air underneath and help keep your pancakes nice and fluffy... (another pro tip, you're welcome!)
Once all of your batter has gone, stack your pancakes on a plate and garnish with your favourite toppings!
