Getting to know Gains4Girls

Gains4Girls are two London-based fitness, food and lifestyle bloggers, who go by the names 'LP' and 'AC' (if you follow them on Instagram, you'll know about the turtle and koala). They are best friends/wannabe-sisters/soulmates who started up Gains4Girls back in October 2014, as a way to share their passion for fitness and food, and the rest is history!

Abby studied BA History at the University of Leeds, before going on to study a Masters in Marketing and Management and then pursuing her dream to become a London-based Personal Trainer and bikini competitor! The 2015/16 season was a success, winning her very first UKBFF competition and qualifying for the British Finals, where she went onto achieve 3rd place!

Abby’s 2017 goals include being more mindful (having at least 1 hour a day away from social media and phone!) and having more ‘me’ time! In the gym, AC wants to be able to do a muscle-up, a 130kg deadlift and a 200kg glute bridge. And when she competes at the Arnold Classic in September, she wants to place top 6!

Lucy (the blondie) also studied BA History at the University of Leeds. She now works as Financial Services Consulting based in London. Although that leaves her less time for the gym, she loves 6am training sessions up in the city and spreading the message that achieving a healthy work-life-gym balance is possible.

Lucy’s 2017 goals include again having more ‘me’ time as well, gyming consistently 4 times a week, sticking to nutrition (despite working crazy hours in the city!). In terms of lifts Lucy wants to be able to do a 100kg squat.

One of Abby and Lucy’s best friend goals is to be ready to buy a flat together before April 2018!
